Edelle Roberts

In loving memory of Edelle Roberts, 81, of Bakersfield, CA, who passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, on December 31, 1940, to Edgar and Thelma Rowell. She moved to Bakersfield around 1966 with her husband and their two sons. Her career was spent with children as a teacher's aide with the Rosedale Union School District. Edelle was actively involved with several quilt clubs within Kern County and loved to collect anything apples and thimbles. She was a devoted Nana to her Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornell Wayne, and her parents, Edgar and Thelma Rowell. Edelle leaves behind two sons, Michael and wife Donna, Mark "Hook" and wife Pamala, and Granddaughter Allysen.
